Having your vehicle broken into is bad enough.
Now imagine having to watch your vehicle getting pillaged right on video. That’s what happened to one Burnaby resident who has video of his vehicle being rifled through by a thief.
The crime happened on July 27 at around 5:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of Ewart Street in Burnaby.
“Please publish this idiot's picture for all to see,” writes the resident.
Theft from vehicles is perhaps Burnaby’s most common crime.
The worst area for this is in and around Metrotown, but there are other pockets that see high numbers of thefts from vehicles, including west Brentwood and Middlegate.
