As May beckons, we still have an interesting collection of things to do in April. We're continuing with our popular feature - our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend. This week, we have some great spring options in the city. Here's our Top 5 for this weekend.

1 Get watching Miss Caledonia at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, 6450 Deer Lake Ave. on both Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21. The year is 1953, and, desperate to escape the drudgery of farm life, Peggy Ann Douglas decides she will simply become a movie star - and she will start her journey to the top by winning the local pageant. That's the premise behind Miss Caledonia, and theatregoers will be impressed by the production.

The show's at 8 p.m. each night. For tickets and info, call 604-205-3000 or go to the website at www. shadboltcentre.com.

2 Get celebrating on Friday, April 20 at the farewell party for St. Thomas More Collegiate's 50-year-old gym, running from 7 to 9 p.m.

The school's supporters have raised millions of dollars toward a new gym, and this Friday's event is to celebrate the outgoing gym, which will be demolished soon to make way for construction of the new facility.
