This week, we have some rummage sales, high school reunions and registration for a kids' swap meet. Here's our Top 5 for this weekend.

1 Get reunited with your high school alumni this Saturday, Sept. 17. Burnaby North Secondary's reunion is at 6: 30 p.m. till 1 a.m. The 40year reunion is at the Eagle Creek Burnaby Mountain Golf Course. Tickets are almost sold out, but call Bev at 604-937-0731 to get one or email pearsons@ shaw.ca.

If you graduated from Alpha Secondary, the grad class of 1991 is getting together for a 20-year reunion at the Mountain Shadow Pub, from 6 p.m. to midnight. Info: Marnie at smlawnjoe@hotmail. com.

com. 2 Get hunting for vintage bargains. There are two sales on this weekend that may offer some interesting finds. The Women's Fellowship of St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church is holding a parking lot sale on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the fellowship. Confederation Seniors' Centre is also holding a flea market on Saturday, from 9: 30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be more than 55 tables of pre-loved items and refreshments on sale. The centre is at 4585 Albert St., and admission is free.

3 Get philosophical at the SFU Philosphers' Café on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 7 to 8: 30 p.m. at La Fontana Caffe, 3701 East Hastings St. Admission is $5. Moderator Kathy Matak will talk on the subject: What is common about common sense?

4 Get out to the ball game on Sunday, Sept. 18. Burnaby's Japanese-Canadian National Museum and Carnegie Community Centre are holding the Asahi Tribute baseball game, 11 a.m. at Oppenheimer Park in the 400 block of Powell Street in Vancouver. Free admission.

The game is to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vancouver Asahi baseball team's last game. Info: [email protected] or 604-777-7000.

5 Get registered for the upcoming Kidstuff Swapmeet at the Bonsor Recreation Complex, 6550 Bonsor Ave. Registration is on Sunday, Sept. 18, beginning at 9 a.m., and numbers will be given out at 8 a.m. Cost is $19.64 (plus tax) per table, and participants are limited to one table. The upcoming meet is on Oct. 16. Info: 604-297-4597.
