A Burnaby man suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car at Willingdon Avenue and Kingsway last week, and now Burnaby RMCP are asking witnesses to come forward.
The crash happened around 5 p.m. on Sept. 10 near Crystal Mall. The victim, 89, was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a car making a right-hand turn. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police, but investigators are asking other witnesses to come forward.
