A woman is in hospital after a stabbing in Burnaby Thursday night.

Police were called to a 7-Eleven at Royal Oak Avenue and Rumble Street at about 7:20 p.m. for reports of an injured woman, according to a statement from Burnaby RCMP.

“It appears the victim was attacked in a nearby alley before seeking help at a convenience store,” the statement said.
