The play focuses on Guthrie's life as a prolific and provocative writer, the "father of the 1960s folk revival," and, according to Billy Bragg, the first "alternative" musician.
He wrote about life in America, from the dust bowl of Oklahoma to the towers of New York City, and from Hobo Jungles to the Merchant Marine.
Woody Sed follows his rise to fame and struggle to escape a harsh and predestined fate, states a press release.
Tickets are $32 for adults, $27 for students and seniors.
