A Repair Café event is coming to Burnaby on June 5, but it will be virtual.
Repair Cafés are community events where visitors get their broken household items fixed free of charge, with the help of experienced volunteers.
Since we are in a pandemic, this will be a virtual event where repair volunteers will give instruction and advice over a video conference (ZOOM).
Things you will need for this event:
- a web enabled device with a camera
- headphones
- the latest version of ZOOM on your device
- an item to repair
- tools and spare parts/materials (Optional, but highly recommended!)
Register with your item category and preferred time slot. If it's sold out, sign up on the waitlist to be notified when a spot opens up.
