The annual pet blessing is returning once again to a Burnaby church.
Bring your pets to All Saints Anglican Church to have them blessed in a special service on Oct. 5 “which honours the patron saint of animals, St. Francis of Assisi,” says a notice.
All pets and their owners are invited to the event, which begins at 2 p.m. at 7405 Royal Oak Ave.
“We do ask that if you are bringing snakes or other exotic pets that you let us know in advance,” said the notice.
Following the service, there will be refreshments served for both pets and their owners.
