Don't miss the best of the upcoming crop of graduating novice lacrosse players at this year's annual Jack Crosby All-Star novice lacrosse tournament at the Bill Copeland Sports Centre complex this week.
Beginning Thursday morning, Burnaby will field teams in Tiers 1 and 3, which includes two-time finalists Oakville Hawks from Ontario in the elite tier pool.
Also committed to Tier 1 are teams from Ridge Meadows, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam and two separate squads from Coquitlam.
All day action gets underway on Thursday, July 5 at both the Bill Copeland centre and Burnaby Lake arena.
Preliminary games continue into Friday, with Saturday primarily scheduled for tiering playdowns.
Gold and bronze medal games in all tiers will take place on Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m. The Tier 1 championship game is set for 1:30 p.m. at the Copeland centre.
On Saturday, the Lions club will be hosting a pancake breakfast by donation from 9 a.m. to noon.
