Burnaby's Jakie Köhli scored a pair of goals in her final home game of the season for the Indiana University women's NCAA Division I water polo team.

Köhli's two counters in an 8-7 overtime loss to No. 18-ranked Michigan brought the Moscrop Secondary grad to within 16 markers of the all-time school scoring record.

Köhli currently has 55 goals this season and 231 over her university career.

Indiana's record fell to 16-12 heading into the Collegiate Water Polo Association Western championships in two weeks time.

First season HR

South Burnaby's Alex Calbick clubbed his first home run of the season for the University of Maine baseball team.

Calbick's solo dinger gave the NCAA Division I Black Bears a 5-0 lead in the third inning in Maine's eventual 9-3 victory over Hartford in America East play on March 23.

Calbick had two runs on two hits and 13 putouts at first base for the Black Bears in the win.

First-ever win

Brent Lawrence had three hits to help the Northern State University baseball team gain a second-ever split with No. 11ranked Minnesota State at Rapid City, South Dakota on Saturday.

Lawrence's one-out solo home run in the top of the third inning sparked a three-run rally en route to a 5-3 win over the Minnesota squad.

Northern State also beat the Mavericks 7-5 in an opening double header the day before - the first-ever victory over Minnesota State in the program's history.

Leading scorer

Riley Loewen became Limestone College's all-time goal scoring leader in a 12-6 win over Queens in an NCAA Division II field lacrosse game in Gaffney, South Carolina on March 30. Lowen scored three times to bring his career total to 162 goals, surpassing Nick Carlson's mark of 159 set back in 2002.
