Fifth-year Douglas College student RuiLin Huang and third-year Wei Luo were named PacWest's badminton athletes of the week.
Huang, who has won 33 consecutive PacWest tournaments without a loss in her college career, was a perfect 12-0 in the opening tournament at Thompson Rivers University last week.
The Burnaby senior opened the week-end by beating all four of her opponents in women's singles to help Douglas win the team aggregate. She also swept all her matches to win the individual singles title and sharing a women's doubles victory with teammate Charmagne Yeung.
Burnaby's Luo also completed a perfect weekend, winning 11 straight games, including the men's singles and doubles, with Nathan Choi, and the team event.
