Team B.C. used its home oval advantage on the weekend to roll to the first Australian Football League Canadian national championships, held in Burnaby.
B.C. topped Team Alberta in the final 4-8 (32) to 3-0 (18), aftering trailing by 18 points at halftime. In the women's final, Team Alberta trounced Ontario 5-5 (35) to 1-0 (6).
