Burnaby Lake Rugby Club's Josefa Dolesau scored two tries to lead B.C.'s senior men's team to a 31-29 win over the Prairie Wolf Pack in Kelowna on Saturday.

Dolesau's pair of five-pointers both came in the opening half of play as the B.C. Bears raced to a 24-0 lead before the Wolf Pack replied with a score of its own just before half time in round 3 of the Canadian rugby championship.

The second half was nearly all Wolf Pack as the Prairie side ran in four tries, including three unanswered scores in the final quarter of the match as the Bears managed to hang on for their second win in three starts.

The two teams meet again in Calgary this Saturday.

"This wasn't the message we wanted to send with a rematch just around the corner. But in the end, we got the win," said B.C. captain Eric Wilson in a B.C. Rugby press release.
