Lexi Der scored 10 points with eight rebounds, three assists and one block in her first career start with the Boise State University women's basketball team.

Der's only block in the final 10 seconds of play helped the home-court Broncos hold onto a 70-68 victory over Wyoming in the NCAA Division I Mountain West conference opener for both teams on Jan. 9.

A week earlier, Der and Boise State teammate Lauren Lenhardt combined for 33 points and 25 rebounds to upset College of Idaho, 61-47.

Der, a red-shirt freshman, recorded her first-ever varsity double-double in the come-from-behind win at home.

The St. Thomas More Collegiate grad scored 20 points and added a game-high 14 rebounds in the non-conference win over Idaho.

Der garnered most of her points at the free-throw line, nailing 12-of-13 from the charity stripe, while also scoring four field goals. The 6-1 Burnaby product was particularly helpful in the pivotal second half, recording 16 points and 10 boards, as Boise State came back from a deficit of 15 points to improve the team's record to 7-6.
