Tyler Morley of Burnaby was named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's rookie of the week.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks first-year forward scored a goal and garnered two assists in a road sweep over Notre Dame last week.
Morley picked up both helpers, including one on the game-winning goal, in last Friday's 5-4 win over the Fighting Irish. He also tallied the game-winner and was named the first star in Alaska's 2-1 victory over Notre Dame on the following night.
The Burnaby rookie is currently third in team scoring with eight goals and 14 points this season. [email protected]
