The Burnaby Lake Rugby Club got maximum bonus points with win over UVic to restart spring schedule

Burnaby Lake Rugby Club maintained a five-point lead atop the B.C. Rugby premier league following a 35-15 win over the University of Victoria on Saturday.

James Bay vaulted into second place with a 41-5 rout of the UBC Old Boys at MacDonald Park.

Capilano RFC moved to within two points of fourth place and a possible playoff spot with a 32-3 victory over last-place Meraloma.

The North Shore club broke open an 8-3 half-time advantage, scoring four tries in the second half.

Burnaby Lake could help out the Caps this weekend with a win over the 4-3 Old Boys at Jericho Park on Saturday.
