The Burnaby Minor atom C5 Bulldogs were one of 10 minor hockey teams to win $2,000 in the All Star Grants put on by Best Buy and B.C. Hockey.
The Burnaby Minor hockey club team received its grant at the Metrotown Best Buy last week.
The Bulldogs had to submit an entry, including a team photo, a video, a description of the team, and an overview of how the grant would be used. The teams then shared their entries with as many people as possible encouraging them to vote.
The top 10 teams were chosen from the top 20 finalists after public voting.
