The East Coast Hockey League playoffs came to an end for two Burnaby pros.
Elmira Jackals goalie Brian Stewart was named the game second star following a 41-save performance in a 2-1 upset loss to the Florida Everblades in second-round Eastern conference playdowns.
Stewart posted a 2.16 goals against average and a 0.931 save percentage in the playoffs for Elmira, which finished tops in the Eastern conference and second overall in the East Coast league.
Jesse Fratkin also played his last game of the season for the Stockton Thunder a 4-1 loss to the West conference champion Alaska Aces. Fratkin was named the game's third star, following his second goal of the playoffs.
