The Rebels advanced to face Vancouver champion Kitsilano today following a 74-51 win over Eric Hamber in backdoor consolation play on Wednesday.

Pavneet Brar and Manpreet Nijjar led the five-member Rebels squad with 23 points apiece.

Brar sparked South to an early lead, nailing five three-pointers in the first half of the game against the runner-up Vancouver school. Nijjar had a strong third quarter, scoring 13 points to open the second half of play.

Stephanie Labb was also on target for the Rebels, tallying 17 points, including a long-range trey in each of the four quarters.

The Rebels took on Kitsilano at Steveston-London Secondary today at 3:15 p.m.
