The Burnaby South Rebels won both the junior and juvenile boys' basketball titles at the Vancouver and District high school championships last week.
The junior Rebels defeated New Westminster 48-42 in an all-district championship final. Martin Bogajev and Djordje Obradovic led South in scoring.
The junior boys' provincial tournament will be hosted at Vancouver College from March 8 to 10.
The Grade 9 Rebels took the juvenile banner 55-47 over J.N. Burnett in the V&D final.
Nic Trninic led South in scoring with 14 points, while E.J. Mabone chipped in with 13 points, including nine in the fourth quarter.
The juvenile boys' provincial hoop tournament will be held at Kitsilano Secondary from March 8 to 10.
