Simon Fraser University remained winless in women's conference volleyball following a straight-set loss to first-place Western Washington.
The Clan lost 25-15, 25-17, 25-13 to the Vikings, who share the Great Northwest lead with Central Washington, both with an 8-1 record.
Amanda Renkema led the Clan with eight kills, while Jessica Young added seven winners, but it was too litte against the NCAA Division II No. 14-ranked team in the country. Alanna Chan had a team-high 16 digs.
The loss dropped SFU's overall record to 3-13. The Clan are back in action at home this Thursday against Northwest Nazarene. Game time is 7 p.m.
