Burnaby lacrosse attacker Riley Loewen is continuing to make news out east.

Loewen, a junior at Limestone College, had seven points to lead his number-six ranked squad to a 17-6 win over Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday.

Loewen had two goals and five assists for the Saints, who are now 4-0 within conference play, have won 23 straight league games and 42 consecutive NCAA Division II South Region contests, while improving to 10-1 overall on the season.

The Saints jumped out to an 8-2 lead and never looked back. Their squad is built on the strength of their Lower Mainland connection.

Loewen is joined by Port Moody's Jackson Decker, who had three goals and two assists, while another Port Moody product, Tor Reinholdt, also chipped in with two goals and an assist for Limestone.

Limestone outshot Queens 41-22. Limestone's next game is this Saturday when they host No. 10-ranked Mars Hill in a non-conference showdown.
