Bo Palmer had a career day on Saturday night at Fox Field.

Palmer rushed for four touchdowns and 146 yards to lead the Clan to a 41-28 win over the Dixie State Red Storm.

Palmer was helped by quarterback Trey Wheeler, who threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns, one to Centennial grad Lemar Durant, who finished with 116 receiving yards, and the second to Mathis Baumbach to open the scoring.

"Going into this game, we wanted to come out with intensity," Palmer said in a press release. "All week in practice, our offensive line has meshed really well with our running backs and that showed in this game."

"We knew what they wanted to do on defence and we did our best to exploit that," said Wheeler. "I feel like we didn't play our best game tonight, but we still put up 41 points. That's a testament to the hard work this group puts in and our coaching staff."

The win improves the Clan's record to 2-3 and 1-3 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play.

The Clan will be at home again this Saturday afternoon when they host Azusa Pacific at 2 p.m. at Fox Field.
