Gabriel Ho-Garcia of Burnaby scored three goals in Canada's five wins at a three nation junior men's field hockey tournament at Eric Hamber Field from July 15 to 23.
Ho-Garcia scored in Canada's opening 9-2 victory over the United States. He also tallied single goals in Canada's 5-3 win over Chile on July 20 and in a 4-3 victory over the U.S. the following day.
Canada finished on top of the three-team tourney with a 5-1-0 record following a 3-1 win over Chile on Monday. The junior national team's only loss in the competition was a 3-0 defeat to the Americans on July 18.
An 18-man roster will be named on Friday (after NOW deadlines) in readiness for the junior Pan American championships to be played in Mexico from Sept. 10 to 23.
