The Burnaby Caprice club earned top marks at a recent synchronized swim meet.
Junior national stream swimmer Claire Hein-Salvi won first place for her solo performance in her debut at the provincial Lower Mainland training and national regional meet.
The following Caprice club swimmers finished in the top 10 in their age categories in figures at the meet:
Sasha Nixon and Alexa Panusa both finished in first place in their groups; Ella Cheah, Lianna Dall'Antonia and Naomi Madokoro had second-place finishes; Soheila Boscarino and Madison Michielin came fifth, while Sophia English and Samantha Volkame were sixth. Hein-Salvi and Kate Seo placed seventh and Julia Ramsey was eighth in her division.
In the technical skills event, the top swimmers in their age categories were: Dall'Antonia, Boscarino, Michielin and Volkamer
Burnaby Caprice Synchronized Swim Club was attended at the meet by head coach Sidney Shindle, as well as coaches Alina Aref’Yeva and Lucia Sun.
