Simon Fraser University weathered a 41-shot onslaught by Okanagan College to register a draw with the second-place hockey team.

The Clan drew 3-3 with Okanagan College to retain its first-place standing atop the B.C. Intercollegiate hockey league and its unbeaten status on Jan. 28.

First star Kyle Leung opened the scoring midway through the first period with his ninth goal of the year.

In the middle period, SFU peppered 17 shots at the Okanagan cage but failed to get another puck by the Kelowna keeper.

Okanagan took a momentary 2-1 lead on its second power-play goal of the game early in the final stanza.

Third star Derek Henderson and Jono Ceci then scored individual tallies back-to-back to regain the lead. But Okanagan's Aaron Buat tied the score with less than five minutes remaining in the game to salvage the single point.
