The Burnaby Mountain Mantas are sending a host of multi-medallists to this week's B.C. Summer Swimming provincial championships.
Harvey Lee, Bryan Yu and Ethan Xue were a trio of triple gold medallists at the recent Simon Fraser regional provincial qualifying meet at Spani Pool.
Jun Jay Liu, Vincent Chung, with four gold in Division 7, and David Hibberd also added to the gold-medal haul for the Mantas.
Div. 2 racer Hannah Cui and Sayla Briggs, Lauryn Sartori and Shalynn Lee also had multi podiums for the Mountain Mantas at the regionals.
Also heading to the provincials with a regional gold in tow are multiqualifiers Christopher Ng, Yamoaka Fu, Sean Li, Derek Shi, Taila Briggs and Mabel Ng.
Mountain Manta teammates Brigette Cheong, Sisi Zhou, Allen Lane, Desiree
Wu, Kevin Nickerson, Jun Shong Liu, Henry Huang, Jacky Tang, Kevin Hu, Kelvin Au, Shawn Huang, Elton Lai, Deryck-James Tsang and Armaan Basi also qualified for the yearending meet.
The Burnaby Barracudas will also be sending a strong swim team to the provincials including:

The provincial summer swimming meet championships will take place at Spani Pool in Mundy Park in Coquitlam from Friday, Aug. 16 to 18.
