Burnaby's Nick Dasovic was named coach of Canada's under-20 men's soccer team earlier this month.
Dasovic returns to the Canadian national youth program after leading the men's senior team to a third-place finish at the 2008 CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament. He has since served as an assistant and head coach with the MLS Toronto FC.
As a player, Dasovic made 63 appearances on the Canadian national team from 1992 to 2004.
The FIFA u-20 World Cup is in Turkey in 2013.
