Simon Fraser University track and field athlete Helen was named the Red Lion co-athlete of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
Crofts shared the award this week with Grace Morgan of Alaska Anchorage.
In the Clan's Achilles Cup dual meet against the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds Crofts led the Clan with victories in three individual events as well as anchoring the 4x400-metre relay to a fourth win.
The West Vancouver runner won the 400-metre race in a provisional national qualifying time of 55.71 seconds and also placed first in the 1500m race in a time of 4:41.50.
Filling in for an injured teammate, Crofts also tied her Thunderbird opponent in her first attempt at the high jump this season with a heigh of 1.55-metres.
Crofts capped off the meet leading the Clan to a victory in the 4x400 relay in a Great Northwest conference season best time of 3:52.84.
Crofts and the Clan will be back in action at home on Terry Fox Field again this Saturday, when SFU hosts the Emilie Mondor Invitational.
