The Burnaby Dynamo Swim Club had excellent results at the AA provincial championship last weekend.
Ten-year-old Eric Xiong and Nicholas Wong, 11, both won their first provincial swim medals at the short-course meet in Chilliwack.
Xiong placed first in the 400-metre individual medley and also took a silver in the 400m freestyle in the 11-and-under age group. He also made finals in two other disciplines, finishing fourth in the 200m free and 100m butterfly.
Wong won a silver medal in the 200m butterfly.
At a Lower Mainland meet in Richmond,
Samantha Skeene touched first in five events, including the 100, 200, 400 and 800m free and 400m IM. She also placed second in the 50m free and third in the 200m IM.
Brandon Cai, 10, was runner-up in the 100m backstroke, fourth in the 100m free and fifth in both the 50m free and 200m IM. He also made the final in the 100m fly.
Rebecca Wong, 14, earned a bronze medal in the 800m free. She was fourth in the 200m back and IM, while also making finals in both the 400m free and 100m back.
