Fun lacrosse offered at Charles Rummel in January

An introduction to the sport of indoor lacrosse is being offered by the Burnaby minor association again this year. Three Fun Lacrosse sessions for boys and girls aged five to 10 will be offered at the Charles Rummel centre at 3630 Lozelles Ave.

An introduction to the sport of indoor lacrosse is being offered by the Burnaby minor association again this year.

Three Fun Lacrosse sessions for boys and girls aged five to 10 will be offered at the Charles Rummel centre at 3630 Lozelles Ave., beginning Jan. 25.

No equipment is required. A plastic stick and soft, hollow ball will be supplied.

Former senior A box player Brandon McKinnon and his Rage in the Cage team will be instructing the registrants in all the sessions.

The $25 Friday night session will run from Jan. 25 to Feb. 22, with space for groups that run from 6 to 7 p.m. and a second one-hour time slot at 7 p.m.

There is also a five-session class on Saturdays, which will run from Jan. 26 to Feb. 23. Three groups will be offered on Saturday mornings. The first starts at 9 a.m. and the final group goes from 11 a.m. to noon.

There is also a Sunday morning session available for $20.
