The Simon Fraser University women's golf team started their spring schedule with a 17th-place finish at the Point Loma Nazarene University Super San Diego Championship.
Nicky Jordan was the Clan's top finisher, leading the squad with rounds of 86 and 82 for a 24-over-par tournament total of 168.
Freshmen Kristin Jorgenson and Rochelle Rozensoff finished second and third on the Clan. Jorgenson shot 94 in each round for a tournament total of 188, while Rozensoff shot 97 and 96 for a tournament total of 193.
Mackenzie Field and Jennifer McTeer rounded out the Clan squad. Cal State University San Marcos won the team title with a combined score of 626.
Megan Woodland of the University of Victoria won the individual title with a five-over score of 149, shooting rounds of 70 and 79.
The Clan women's golf team will be back in action on March 1 at the CSU-East Bay Invitational in Hayward, California.
