Help raise funds for girls soccer on June 15

The Pride & Joy campaign would help the Burnaby Girls Soccer Club raise up to $5,000 simply by downloading a free app

On June 15, you can help out the Burnaby Girls Soccer Club simply by shaking an app.

Burnaby soccer fans can help raise up to $5,000 for Burnaby Girls Soccer Club, simply by cheering, when Canada’s women’s national soccer team plays the Netherlands in its final group match at the Women’s World Cup on Monday, June 15.

Through the Mondelēz Pride & Joy campaign, the Burnaby Girls club has been selected out of 100 pre-qualified clubs across the country for a chance at receiving much-needed funds to help support youth soccer.

The Burnaby Girls Soccer Club receives funding from Kidsport Burnaby, as well as JumpStart that enables all girls to be able to participate in soccer regardless of income. With the money raised through Pride & Joy, the clubs are looking to reimburse KidSport and Jumpstart with funding that will assist more youth in other clubs and even other sports.
