The Steelers win-a-game, lose-a-game streak continued this week.

The Burnaby-based junior B hockey club dropped a 5-2 decision to conference rival North Delta Devils last Saturday, before rebounding with a victory over the No. 2 team in the opposing conference of the Pacific International Hockey League.

On Sunday, Grandview defeated the Abbotsford Pilots 5-2 at the Burnaby Winter Club to keep its third-place standing in the Tom Shaw conference.

The win also prevented Abbotsford from taking over sole possession of first place in the Harold Brittain conference.

First star Kyle Golz led things off for Grandview with back-to-back first-period goals. Golz got his hat trick later on in the middle frame.

Rookie forward Joey Santucci garnered the game's second star with a goal and two assists for the Steelers.

On Saturday, Steelers' rookie Alex Roberts of Burnaby scored his fifth goal of the campaign and was named the game's third star in the loss to the Devils.
