Matthew Shannik scored four goals, and Tyler Kirkby had a pair, including his team-leading 11th of the season as the Burnaby Lakers defeated the visiting Nanaimo Timbermen 16-8 in an intermediate A lacrosse regular season game at Bill Copeland Sports Centre on Sunday.
Danny Spagnuolo also potted a pair of goals for the Burnaby teens as the Lakers won their second straight game.
