The much-anticipated B.C. Junior Lacrosse League final between the New Westminster Salmonbellies and the Coquitlam Adanacs kicks off tonight (Wednesday) at Queen’s Park Arena.
Game 1 between the two top nationally-ranked clubs will face off at 8 p.m.
New West currently tops the LacrosseTalk national poll, with a regular season record of 20-1-0.
Coquitlam moved up a spot from third last week, following a three-game sweep of the Victoria Shamrocks in the first round of playoffs.
New West also knocked off the Delta Islanders in straight games in the best-of-five semifinal.
The best-of-seven playoff final will pick up again on Friday at the Coquitlam Sports Centre at 7:30 p.m.
Game 3 will be played at Queen’s Park on Saturday, July 26 at 8 p.m.
Game 4 will be back at the Poirier Street centre in Coquitlam on Monday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m.
If necessary, a game 5, 6 or 7 will be played later in the week.
Game 5 is set for Queen’s Park on Wednesday, July 30 at 8 p.m.
Game 6 is in Coquitlam on Friday, Aug. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Game 7 is scheduled for Queen’s Park on Sunday, Aug. 3 at 8 p.m.
