Burnaby Minor Hockey is inviting girls to come try the game of hockey for free. This Saturday at Kensington Arena, all girls aged five to 18 years old will be able to take part in Lace 'em Up, a B.C.

Burnaby Minor Hockey is inviting girls to come try the game of hockey for free.

This Saturday at Kensington Arena, all girls aged five to 18 years old will be able to take part in Lace 'em Up, a B.C. Hockey program designed to introduce girls and families to Canada's national winter sport.

The free session will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kensington rink, located at 6159 Curtis St. All necessary gear will be available at the arena. The cost is free and information will be available for parents of girls that want to play for the rest of the season.
