Led by three ice dancing tandems who topped their division, the skaters from the Canlan 8-Rinks facility returned from the Skate Canada Challenge in Pierrefonds, Que. with a big bounty.

Senior ice dancers Haley Sales and Nikolas Wamsteeker captured their division title with an all-around total of 156.66, just edging out fellow clubmates Sarah Arnold and Thomas Williams, who posted 151.70.

In junior dance, Ashlynne Stairs and Lee Royer finished first, tallying 137.78 points. It was just two points more than the runners-up from Quebec. In eighth place were a pair of CISCBC skaters, Nina Mizuki and Veniamins Volskis.

The pairing of Miku Makita and Tyler Gunara, meanwhile, topped the novice ice dancing competition, with a total of 97.97, beating an Ontario duo who scored 97.23.

In novice men's competition, Aleksa Rakic registered the best scores in both short and free programs, for a total of 149.37, well ahead of his nearest challenger. In eighth spot was CISCBC's Gabriel Blumenthal.

Emily Bausback placed fifth overall in senior women's compeition, counting the fifth-best marks in both short and free programs. She was 10 points back of first place.

In sixth position was Kelsey Wong, with a point tally of 148.57, while Sarah Tamura came in 12th.
