Moscrop boys tops again in high school gymnastics

The Moscrop boys did it again at the B.C. high school artistic gymnastics championships. The level 2 Moscrop boys finished first in the province, while the first-level boys placed third overall.

Justin Chan of Moscrop was a runner-up in the level 1 boys' all-around. Chan was first on the pommel horse, second on the high bar, third on the parallel bars and floor, and seventh and eighth, respectively, on the rings and vault.

Titus Le placed fifth overall, including a second-place finish in both horse and floor. Le also came fifth on the high bar, while placing in the top 10 on rings, vault and bars.

Moscrop teammate Gabriel Rodriquez was right behind in sixth spot. Rodriques won the individual pommel horse and was second on vault. He also placed top 10 in the other disciplines.

Kevin Lui and Petar Nikolic were 11th and 15th in the Level 1 all-around. Lui had a personal-best fourth on bars and fifth and on floor, while Nikolic was seventh on floor and horse.

In Level 2, Anthony Giang won the rings and placed runner-up on high bar to finish the all-around in second place. Giang also was third on horse, fifth on floor and seventh on both vault and bars.

Young Min Kim placed 13th among Level 2 boys. Kim's best finish was a fifth place on horse.

On the girls' sice, Kelsey Lim was second overall on the uneven bars asnd sixth on the balance beam in Level 1.
