Mountain sets school Sun Run pace

Burnaby Mountain Secondary runners laced up their shoes and showed up in force at last week’s Vancouver Sun Run, taking the top school team title.

The Burnaby school – one of 93 entered in the 10-kilometre event – had 49 runners cross the finish line. Leading the way was Alex Romero with a final time of 34:26.

Also besting the 40-minute mark were Ryan Roberts and Kosta Adzic.

Moscrop Secondary’s team of 30 runners finished 11th overall, with William Harvey’s 40:44 time tops among the crew and Logan Khan at 41:51.
