Mark Santorelli signed a pro contract with Västerås IK in Division 1 of the Swedish hockey league.
Santorelli, a 100-point scorer with the then Chilliwack Bruins of the Western Hockey League in 2008, was released from Tingsryd, where he had four goals and nine assists as team captain.
