Ernie Truant stepped down this week as commissioner of the Western Lacrosse Association for personal reasons.
Truant was replaced by New Westminster school board trustee and Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Famer Casey Cook following a league meeting on Tuesday.
Cook has held various positions in lacrosse at the provincial and national levels.
