It's now or never for the Grandview Steelers.

The Pacific Junior B Hockey League club faces elimination tonight (Wednesday) in Game 4 of their semifinal series with the front-running North Vancouver Wolf Pack.

Unless they can find a way to pull out a victory -- and they've yet to solve the Wolf Pack in six encounters this season -- it will be all over for the Burnaby-based team.

On Monday, North Van took a 3-0 stranglehold on the series with a convincing 5-1 win at the Burnaby Winter Club.

Lucas Wong tallied the game's first two goals to give the Wolf a 2-0 lead by the halfway mark of the first period. Ryan Stack made it 3-0 before the frame ended.

Steelers' rookie Jacob Paler-Chow counted his third of the playoffs late in the second period to get Grandview into the game.

And while the home team stayed within striking distance, thanks to the performance of veteran netminder Cale Dolan, who finished with 32 saves on the night, North Van pulled away with a pair of powerplay goals late in the third after the Steelers' Thomas Von Schoenberg was tagged with a five-minute checking from behind penalty.

The series continues tonight, 7:15 p.m. at the Burnaby Winter Club.

If Grandview can pocket a win, the two teams will meet again on Saturday in Game 6, 7 p.m. at North Van's Harry Jerome Rec Centre.
