The North Burnaby Boxing Club banged out five wins in a busy weekend of sparring last week.
Lightweight Marcus Sandhu won a unanimous three-round decision over Scott Woodward of 4 Corners Boxing at a Friday night show at Hollyburn Country Club.
NBBC club fighters Leo Samarelli and Phil Ryan also won split decisions at the West Vancouver event.
Samarelli won his lightweight bout over Francis Codilla of Contenders, while Ryan edged Bill Else of Atlas Boxing of Mission in a super middleweight affair.
Former B.C. Lions running back Sean Millington sparred a two-round heavyweight exhibition bout at Hollyburn.
A day later in Revelstoke, North Burnaby club junior boxers also had a successful outcome.
Conner Hollingshead scored a second round technical knockout over Kelowna's Logan Wolff in a 105-pound bout for 11 and 12 year olds.
Joe Dupasquier scored a unanimous decision over Joel Campbell of Prince George for 15 to 16 year olds at 105 lbs.
