As many as 10 young Burnaby soccer players were named to the Soccer B.C. provincial team program.
Forward Nathan Graziano and midfielder Marco Favro of Mountain United FC were identified for the under-13 boys' team, while midfielder Stefan Cuk of Mountain made the roster of the u-14 team.
Forward Christian Nichele of Burnaby was named to the u-15 boys' squad. Midfielder Daniel Pervan of Mountain and Tomoya Takahashi of Fusion FC both made it on the u-16 provincial team.
On the girls' side, Lauren Rea was named to the u-14 team.
Mountain goalkeeper Sydney Bell and midfielder Teagan McManus earned selection to the u-15 team. Forward Seina Kashima was chosen to the u-16 team.
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC will also use the provincial team development program as an additional opportunity to assess players for possible selection.
