The Simon Fraser University hockey team announced a two-game exhibition matchup with rival University of B.C. will be held in January.

Last Saturday, SFU stretched its league-leading record to 6-0-1 following a 6-2 victory over the University of Victoria at the Copeland centre.
Ben Van Lare was the game's first star with a hat trick to increase his lead in B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League scoring to 10 goals and 18 total points.
Second star Tadz Brown tallied a pair of goals to bring his season output to five goals in seven games.
