Burnaby defender Kaleigh Fratkin helped Boston University reach an NCAA Division I title game for just the second time in the women's hockey program history.

Fratkin garnered her 15th of the season on teammate Jenelle Kohanchuk's game-opener at 13 seconds of the first period in a 41 victory over Mercyhurst in Final Four semifinal in Minneapolis, Minnesota last Friday.

On Sunday, top-ranked and undefeated University of Minnesota defeated Boston 6-3 in the national final. Fratkin drew another assist in the final.

This season, the 21-year-old blueliner has scored one goal and garnered 17 points for the No. 2-ranked Terriers. Fratkin and is a plus-21 with a team second-best 65 blocked shots.

Boston University, which won its program record 28th game, is the only Hockey East school to play in a national final.
