Brent Lawrence of Burnaby ended his NCAA Division I baseball career at Northern State University on a high note.
Lawerence batted in the game-winning run in a season-ending double-header against Minnesota Duluth earlier this month.
In his final game, he went three-for-six at the plate and stole two bases to go eight-for-eight and lead the conference in that category. This season, Lawrence hit .300 and had a .550 slugging percentage, leading the conference and placing eight in the nation with six triples. He also had four home runs and 23 runs batted in.
