The B.C. Seniors Games kick off today and run through to Saturday at a variety of venues in Burnaby.
The opening ceremonies will take place at Swangard Stadium on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The closing ceremony will be held at the Michael J. Fox Theatre on Aug. 25, beginning at 1: 30 p.m.
Get out and watch everything from archery at the Burnaby range, badminton at Burnaby Mountain Secondary School, dragon boat racing on Burnaby Lake, pickleball at Burnaby South Secondary, soccer at Burnaby Lake-West and table tennis at Byrne Creek Secondary.
There will also be a dinner and dance at the Bill Copeland centre on Friday. Dinner begins at 5 p.m., with the music starting up at 7 and running until 11 p.m.
A volunteer appreciation event will be held at Burnaby Lake Arena on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m.
