Carlo Basso scored two goals and Chris Bargholz tallied what appeared to the game-winner in the 86th minute of what turned out to be a 3-3 draw with Trinity Western University on March 15.

SFU gave up a pair of penalty kicks to TWU's Braden Gant, including the game-tying spot kick in the final minutes of play.

Basso opened scoring in the third minute, but the host side leveled the score just minutes later on a goal by Nathanial Turner.

Trinity Western took the lead in the 31st minute on the first of two penalty kicks by Gant after a Langley player was fouled in the box.

Basso scored his second marker in the 65th minute, converting a free kick from near the right corner flag.

TWU tied the contest on Gant's second penalty kick that came off a searching high ball into the 18-yard box.

Hide Ozawa played the full 90 minutes in goal for the Clan.
